Summary
AssetClaw has no accounts and keeps no database of personal data. We never ask for your name, email, ID or private keys. To make the Service work, your wallet address and basic connection data (such as your IP address) pass through our servers and the third-party services listed below, which may keep standard technical logs.
AssetClaw is operated from Nigeria and follows the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). Questions: assetclawofficial@gmail.com.
What is processed and why
We process only what is needed to quote, route and show your transfers. We do not sell data, run ads or track you across other sites.
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet address you connect | Show balances, build quotes and transactions, show claims and history | Our servers, SilentSwap, the AssetChain bridge, blockchain RPC nodes and explorers |
| Recipient address you enter | Deliver the transfer | SilentSwap or the AssetChain bridge, and the blockchain |
| Amounts, tokens and networks you choose | Price and route the transfer | Our servers, SilentSwap, Relay |
| IP address, browser and device data | Connect you to the site and services; security and abuse prevention | Hosting providers, wallet connection service, the third parties above |
| Transaction hashes | Track status and link to explorers | Public blockchains and explorers |
| Wallet connection settings | Remember your connected wallet | Your own browser storage, not our servers |
| Public on-chain data about NFT holders | Show collection statistics, such as holder counts | Read from public block explorers and marketplaces |
The legal basis is that this processing is necessary to provide the Service you ask for, our legitimate interest in keeping it secure, and our legal obligations, including sanctions compliance.
Screening and lawful requests. We and the routes we use may check wallet addresses and transactions against sanctions and risk lists, as our Terms of Use describe. We disclose information to authorities only when the law requires it, and we can only share what we hold, which is little beyond short-lived technical logs.
Each third party handles data under its own terms and policy, for example the Relay Privacy Policy. SilentSwap does not publish a separate privacy policy; it states that it collects no personal data, screens wallets against sanctions lists when a quote is requested, and purges transaction records daily. Transactions on a blockchain are public and permanent: neither we nor anyone else can delete them.
Transfers outside Nigeria. Our hosting and route providers operate servers outside Nigeria, so data passing through them may be processed abroad. We use providers that state they protect the data they handle, as the NDPA requires for such transfers.
What Privacy mode hides, and what it does not
- Hidden: the on-chain link between your deposit and the recipient's payout. An observer cannot simply follow the funds from one to the other.
- Still visible: your deposit transaction from your wallet, and the payout transaction to the recipient, each on its own public blockchain.
- Not covered: your IP address and connection data, which still reach the services listed above. Privacy mode is not anonymity.
- With Privacy OFF (standard route), the whole transfer is public, like any regular bridge.
How long data is kept
We keep no user database. Server and hosting logs are kept only for as long as each provider's retention settings keep them for operation and security. Anything you write to a blockchain stays there permanently.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask what personal data we process about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Because we hold no user records, most requests are answered by confirming this. We cannot change or delete blockchain data.
Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will post notice of material changes on the site.
