Terms of Use

Last updated 20 October 2026 · Privacy Policy

1. Agreement and who we are

By accessing or using assetclaw.xyz, its apps or any related service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by AssetClaw from Nigeria ("AssetClaw", "we", "us"). Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if all of the following are true:

  • You are at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • You are not on any sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, Nigeria, the United States (OFAC), the United Kingdom or the European Union, and are not owned or controlled by anyone who is.
  • You are not located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or one where using the Service is illegal.
  • You will not use a VPN or other tool to get around these restrictions.

Some routes may be unavailable in certain countries under their providers' own terms. You must follow those restrictions as well as these Terms.

We may restrict or block access to any wallet address, region or person at our discretion, including to comply with the law.

We and the third-party routes we use may screen wallet addresses and transactions against sanctions and risk lists. Based on that screening, a wallet connection, quote or transaction may be refused, delayed, blocked or suspended without notice, and we may be unable to tell you why.

3. What the Service is

AssetClaw is a non-custodial interface. It helps you build and sign blockchain transactions from your own wallet. We never hold, control or have access to your funds or private keys, and we cannot reverse, cancel or recover a transaction once you sign it.

Transfers are carried out by third-party protocols, not by AssetClaw:

Route on AssetClawCarried out byVisibility
RWA Native bridgeThe AssetChain bridgePublic on-chain
Privacy ONSilentSwap private routingYour deposit and the payout are each on-chain; the link between them is shielded
Privacy OFF (standard)SilentSwap standard route and its liquidity providersPublic on-chain
Token lists and pricesRelay and on-chain dataNot applicable

These providers have their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, delays, failures or decisions, including any refund decision.

NFT mints and sales, such as the Genesis 625 collection, take place on third-party marketplaces under their own terms. AssetClaw pages that show collection statistics are for information only.

When a transfer uses one of these routes, that provider's terms also apply to it, including the SilentSwap Terms of Service and the Relay Terms of Use. Where they conflict with these Terms on how the route itself works, theirs govern that route.

About privacy. Privacy mode reduces how easily your deposit and the payout can be linked on-chain. It is not full anonymity: patterns such as matching amounts or timing, network data such as your IP address, and reusing addresses can still connect them.

4. Quotes, fees and refunds

  • Before you confirm, the Service shows the quote: what the recipient is expected to get and the fees, plus an estimated time where the route provides one. Quotes expire and may be refreshed.
  • Prices can move before a transfer completes. Where a minimum received amount or maximum slippage is shown, that is the limit the route applies, not a guarantee of the expected amount.
  • AssetClaw may charge a service fee on some routes. When it does, it is shown before you confirm, and on some routes it is sent as a separate transaction.
  • You also pay network gas on the source chain, which goes to the network, not to us.
  • Standard-route (Privacy OFF) transfers are not refundable. Private-route refunds, where offered, are decided by SilentSwap under its own rules.
  • On the RWA Native bridge, you may need to complete a separate claim step on the destination chain before funds arrive.

Funds can become stuck, frozen or unrecoverable, for example when an address is flagged by a provider's compliance screening, an unsupported token is sent, or funds are sent to or from an exchange a route does not support. AssetClaw cannot move or recover funds held by a third-party route and has no obligation to do so, but we will help you contact the right provider where we can.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your wallet, seed phrase and devices secure. Anyone with your keys can move your funds.
  • Check every detail before you sign: the networks, token, amount and especially the recipient address. A wrong address usually means the funds are lost.
  • Make sure you hold enough of each network's native token to pay gas.
  • Check any token marked "Unverified" before using it. Anyone can create a token with a familiar name.
  • You are responsible for any taxes and reporting that apply to your transactions.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, or move the proceeds of fraud, theft, ransomware or any other crime.
  • Hide the source of funds from a lawful investigation. Privacy mode is for personal financial privacy, not for concealing illegal activity.
  • Break any law that applies to you, or anyone else's rights.
  • Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with other users.

We may block addresses linked to these activities and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

7. Risks you accept

  • Market risk: crypto-asset prices are volatile and can move against you between quote and delivery.
  • Technology risk: the smart contracts, bridges and networks behind each route are software. They can have bugs or be attacked, which could lead to a loss of funds.
  • Third-party risk: routes may pause, fail, delay or reject a transfer.
  • Network risk: blockchains can congest, fork or halt, and transactions can fail while still costing gas.
  • Regulatory risk: laws on crypto-assets and privacy tools are changing and may affect your ability to use the Service.

8. No advice and no fiduciary duty

Every transaction you make through the Service is your own decision and is unsolicited. Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, including quotes, prices, statistics and token lists.

We will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase. We owe you no fiduciary duty, and to the fullest extent the law allows, any such duty is excluded.

9. Intellectual property

AssetClaw owns the Service, including its website, software, design, text, logos and the AssetClaw name. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service under these Terms. Third-party names and logos, such as SilentSwap and partner projects, belong to their owners. Open-source components remain under their own licences.

10. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any quote, estimate, balance or status shown is accurate. Parts of the Service are in beta and may change or stop working without notice.

In plain words: we build AssetClaw carefully, but we cannot promise it will always work perfectly. Figures like quotes and balances come from third-party routes and networks, so always check them before you sign.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AssetClaw and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of funds, profits or data, arising from your use of the Service or of any third-party route. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US$100 or the AssetClaw service fees you paid on the transaction the claim arises from. These limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct by us.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

In plain words: if something goes wrong and AssetClaw is at fault, the most we will pay is US$100 or the AssetClaw fee on that transaction, whichever is bigger. We do not cover missed profits or losses caused by third-party routes. If we ever act fraudulently or recklessly, this limit does not protect us.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover AssetClaw against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including any route, at any time and without liability to you. We may suspend or end your access, including by blocking a wallet address, if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited use, or if the law or a provider requires it.

We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will post notice of material changes on the site. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept it. Sections 7 to 12 and 14 to 15 survive the end of your use.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Before starting any formal claim, email assetclawofficial@gmail.com describing the issue and what you want, and we will try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days. If we cannot, the dispute goes to the courts of Nigeria, unless the law of your country gives you a right to bring it elsewhere.

To the extent the law allows, any claim must be brought within one year after it arose.

15. General

  • If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it.
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and AssetClaw about the Service.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours, for example to a company that takes over the Service.
  • If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without paying you.
  • You agree that we may communicate with you electronically.
